Short version: your coffee collection stays on your iPhone, and Gnok doesn’t send it anywhere.

What Gnok stores

The coffees you save (names, roasters, origins, processes, roasts, weights, dates and taste profiles), the bag photos and cutouts you take, and your preferences (language, weight unit, haptics and brew method). All of it is kept in the app’s own storage on your iPhone and is included in your iPhone’s regular backups.

What Gnok doesn’t do

Gnok has no accounts and no sign-in. It doesn’t send your collection, photos or preferences to us or to anyone else, and it doesn’t include advertising or third-party analytics.

Camera and photos

Gnok asks for the camera when you photograph a bag, and you can choose pictures from your library instead. Lifting the bag out of the photo happens on your iPhone. Gnok only reads the photos you pick.

Sharing

When you share a coffee, Gnok makes an image and hands it to the iPhone share sheet. Nothing is shared until you choose where it goes.

Deleting your data

Delete a coffee from its page, or delete the app to remove everything it stored on your iPhone.

This website

gnok.app counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or follow you to other sites. It sees things like the page you opened, the site that sent you there, your browser and your country, and we only ever see them as totals. The website has no forms and never asks who you are. None of this involves the app.
